I went outside at around 2:40 to see the lunar eclipse. At first, the moon was a very thin crescent. It was pretty frickin cold outside too, so I went in and out of the house. Eventually I ended up outside for a whole hour just staring at the eclipse which looked like a red pearl in the night sky. I was a beautiful sight, as it is a rare event in 372 years for a total lunar eclipse to happen. This was actually the first time in my life I actually saw a lunar eclipse. My friend Chris in Indiana couldn't see it because there were too many trees in his neighbourhood. He was pissed.
